Giant pokemon drinking game that looks quite interesting

It is very detailed and large. So large that I can't fit the original size on my blog! Here you can read it. Couldn't find a source, but whoever made it is quite awesome and has my admiration.

Project Runway Season 10 Winner

I am so happy with how this year's Project Runway season turned out. My favorite guy won, so of course that makes me happy. Dmitry Sholokhov  was kind of blah in the beginning but then started getting more interesting later in the season.
His outfit for the Rockettes challenge

I noticed something terrible in episode 13, where Tim Gunn goes to everyone's place and critics their work a week before the fashion show. Going to Melissa's , Fabio's, and Chris' houses he heard "This is my family, and this is my boyfriend!" and had tea with a big crowd. Which I have to wonder if that was a requirement or something, some sort of hidden rule "When Tim Gunn visits, serve tea!" But when he went to Dmitry's house it was just him, all alone. And he revealed this:

And drank tea with just him and Tim.

I must say though, for the final show, his styling was terrible in my tastes, but I LOVED his outfits. Especially his last one.

It helps to put your finger to the screen and cover up her face.
I found an awesome interview  from after it was publicly announced he was the winner. Yay Dmitry!

Firefly IS awesome!

So I have heard from various geeky sources that firefly was the best show that ever existed and it's a damn shame that it never got picked up for a second season.

The main character was also Captain Hammer from Dr.  Horrible's Sing Along Blog, which , by the way, is a pretty good comedy with Neil Patrick Harris as the main character. Though be warned, it is a musical/comedy/TRAGEDY genre, meaning something really sad happens... Which made my boyfriend hate the ending and think that the whole thing just plain sucks...I still like it though.

Example:

But I never really felt like going out and finding a way to watch it and was weary of watching a new series because series usually have a lot of episodes and I know I wouldn't be happy with not finishing it. Also what if I feel in love with the show and then was left hanging with questions that were never to be answered?

A year or so after finding out about the show, I found it on netflix. Without anything to watch, boyfriend and I decided to give it a try....AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!

The story line follows a captain and his "ragtag crew", as netflix calls it, as they find (usually illegal) jobs of scavenging cargo and then selling it on the black market. They claim that they do regular jobs too, but I don't think it ever shows any in the series.

The setting is in the year of 2517, and the planet "The-Earth-That-Was" (you may know it by it by it's current name, Earth) was used up, so they found a new solar system and terraformed the planets and moons to support human life. The group called The Alliance decided that all the new planets should be under one rule, but the group of people who didn't want that, called The Independents or "Brown Coats", fought back causing a war. The first episode starts with the war, introducing the captain and a woman of his later to be formed crew. Most of the series takes place about 7 years after the wars, excluding some flash backs and the like. The alliance won, and now the central planets are the more rich and technologically advanced, and leave the outer planets with not so much technology or money.

It has the perfect level of humor, and the right type! I loved all of the characters and was so interested in the story line  They could have had an episode about filing taxes and I would have loved it! Of course it would most likely be perfectly dramatic and dangerous taxes that would reveal a little more about the characters. Basically they had some lovely ingredients that they mixed together and baked into a wonderful show.

Thankfully, a few years after the end of Firefly(2002), they made a follow up movie called Serenity(2005). It wrapped things up to a satisfactory level for me. I very much recommend this series!

My love of the walking dead comics, and confusion and disappointment on the show

I heard that the walking dead was "FUCKING AWESOME!" from my boyfriend, and after hearing there was a comic I decided to read the comic first to get the whole effect. In my opinion the comic was pure "FUCKING AWESOME!"...but the bad part is now I am watching the tv series. I'm not sure if reading the comic first was such a good idea now. All that's happening is that I am getting disappointed or frustrated, and my boyfriend says if all I'm going to do while watching the show is complain, he doesn't even want to see it with me.

What I imagine to be Rick's reaction to the show.

They took they original characters and made them a lot less bad ass, then they took out some characters and added some that didn't exist. Random black dude named "T-Dog" (really?) isn't my cup of tea, but Daryl seems pretty cool .A cross bow seems pretty dang ergonomic in this situation of the world. In a random interview I read,(this one) Kirkman even said that now Daryl is his favorite character and " I'm so jealous that I haven't had anybody use a crossbow in the comic book. I was totally asleep at the wheel on that one. I need to get some crossbow action in the comic now!"

Some spoilers of the comic come after this line.

Why are they making all the characters less bad ass? Everyone should be carrying a gun by now, no questions about whether or not they should, and quit being so dumb. Why did t.v. show Glenn drive a car with the fucking alarm going off straight to the camp? Why couldn't he just leave it somewhere in the city and then run past the zombies who where distracted? Also the presence of Shane is making Rick fade into the background compared to the comic. I freaking love comic Rick, but AMC Rick is less bad ass....like everyone else.

I really REALLY want Shane to die. He really shouldn't have made it to the second season. In the comic I had the nice little fulfillment of his death. He was starting to be a dick and was deluding himself about the military showing up to save them. Even though it totally only snows in Georgia about 2" annually, it was totally snowing in the book, but that's cool with me. Rick was all like "Yo, it's totally cold here. We should like, not be in the open, ya know?" and Shane was all like "FUCK YOU! I WANT TO SLEEP WITH YOUR WIFE MORE!" Then Carl, who is all bad ass and carrying a gun at all times at this point, shoots him in the neck after he started threatening rick. That's it. End of Shane story. But nooooo, AMC is too much of a pussy to have a kid shoot a dude. They rather have a douche bag dude for the audience to hate I guess.

Me: "Awesomesauce!"

I haven't seen all of season 2 yet, though
