The Assassin's Creed III Post

We got Assassin's Creed II on the midnight release, but until now three hasn't been enough pictures online for me to be happy with this post.

At our gamestop, since it was close to Halloween  there was a costume contest. I showed up as headcrab zombie.... and the only other person who was in "costume" was a girl dressed up as Lucy Stillman from the  AC series, which looks like this:

And it's cool that she dressed up from the game, but the contest was open to any costume, but versus a headcrab zombie, it seemed she just kind of found that she had the right clothes in her closet. The store did that terrible thing where they say "If you like this costume, clap your hands!" ...but that ended up not working very well, so everyone had to raise their hands instead.

I won :3 and got a $10 gift card to the store.

Then we went home and played it....and it had SO many bugs and glitches

Here's two amusing (to me) glitches I captured with my high-tech video capture device (my camera pointed at the tv)

 but also this happened:

It's pointless, but I still want to do it. I mean, come on, petting pigs makes your hand puke up cornflakes!

Also I like how strangely awkward this video. Just looking at a kid running into a wall then all of a sudden "Pig! It was you the entire time!" feeds pig, then throws money at the guy walking into the wall. (A summary in case you don't feel like watching the video)

I pet all the animals and was all like:
This artwork by the amazing Fuugen
Boyfriend said it was dumb and pointless for me to do that and I said that there might be some significance. Maybe at one point someone tries to call the dogs on you and then before killing you they will remember you and turn on their master instead! Though I did try to feed a rat and ended up stepping on it :[

I went sleep and woke up to my boyfriend being farther in the game (actually playing as Connors) and he was chasing down small cute creatures and MURDERING them!

It was terrible! Right after I had gotten the impression that this game was so amazing because Connors probably was attune to nature and could command animals to rip apart his enemies (go get 'em kitty!) then I find out it is a requirement to get pass one part to kill them D:

Of course I've come across THIS problem now that I've played as Connors

The wolfies don't understand I'm a friend...or the angry moose for that matter...luckily haven't run into a bear yet.
So I guess it's an alright game, expect that I keep getting REALLY mad at it doing things I don't want it to, (like when I'm jumping from tree to tree and he's all like, I think I'll jump unto the ground now...I hate trees) I blame the glitches...

Project Runway Season 10 Winner

I am so happy with how this year's Project Runway season turned out. My favorite guy won, so of course that makes me happy. Dmitry Sholokhov  was kind of blah in the beginning but then started getting more interesting later in the season.
His outfit for the Rockettes challenge

I noticed something terrible in episode 13, where Tim Gunn goes to everyone's place and critics their work a week before the fashion show. Going to Melissa's , Fabio's, and Chris' houses he heard "This is my family, and this is my boyfriend!" and had tea with a big crowd. Which I have to wonder if that was a requirement or something, some sort of hidden rule "When Tim Gunn visits, serve tea!" But when he went to Dmitry's house it was just him, all alone. And he revealed this:

And drank tea with just him and Tim.

I must say though, for the final show, his styling was terrible in my tastes, but I LOVED his outfits. Especially his last one.

It helps to put your finger to the screen and cover up her face.
I found an awesome interview  from after it was publicly announced he was the winner. Yay Dmitry!

Headcrab Fail.

Was making an awesome mask of headcrabby papercraft goodness, as seen here:
The awesome guy who made the papercraft
But I have had a derpy hooves moment of "I just don't know what went wrong"
Now that I'm at the final part of finishing it, stuff doesn't match up :( I actually had a dream last night that I found a piece that I hadn't cut out that fixed everything! sadly only the glue on fangs are left. I'm just going to glue stuff to other stuff and try to make it whole. I shall update if it gets any better.

Update! 10/13/12

I painted on a shirt in acrylic. Surprisingly this shirt used to be dark blue. I needed a white-ish but didn't have one but did have some bleach. This picture makes it look like my arm is double jointed.

Then I went to HEB and bought all the fake blood they had (5 tubes). In retrospect, I could have probably done better trying to make my own. I haven't done that before so it kind of slipped my mind that that's an option.

Rawr! Headcrab Zombie! Didn't think of the different lengths of the 2 shirts until it was too late D:

Zombeh melicus

So, the local big city I live by is having a first annual zombie walk for charity, and they asked for volunteers to show up zombified to be in a commercial for it. So, I tried my hand at zombie paint. I used my air brushes for the first time. I used acrylic paints and got the base of white and grey. Then I used my brushes for the ripped flesh. I then wiped my lips off so I could eat and drink and slept this way.

Also I have a map of Wisconsin showing all the places to stop for cheese...one day I shall travel out of state!
The next day I repainted the teeth and added blood. Our bathroom still looks terrible from me trying to get a nice splatter effect, because I am very slow and unmotivated when it comes to cleaning. The good thing about bathrooms is that they are not covered in carpet like the rest of your apartment...let's think about how thoughtful I was about ease of cleaning and ignore the fact that there is a mirror in the bathroom that I needed to use. Also I cut a gushers wrapper and covered it in sharpie and glued it to my eyelid instead of just painting my eyelid black. The night before, I had found out that I have issues keeping one eye closed.

So yeah, this is what I can do without having any latex thingies to glue to my face with spirit gum..I simply paint it on and pretend.
