The company that makes it is called Hardcandy and they make some pretty neat stuff. Also they use a lot of puns. This is a roll on shimmer and eye shadow stick duo. I don't usually wear make-up out of laziness, but this looked like I could easily make myself look like I knew what I was doing. It actually looks quite nice now that I've stopped crying.
And know you can see that I have a slight lazy eye
Decided to try to learn a new skill. Was cleaning my room and found my juggling balls I got one Christmas when I was 8 or so. I tried it out then, but after about 5 minutes I got bored with it. Now I have more determination. I've upgraded to 3 balls now. Catching a ball 4 times in a row is considered the start of a juggle. So far that is my maximum, then I drop one. Got my boyfriend to try and after about 15 minutes he did 6 catches in a row! I'm jealous at his ability to get good at almost any skill quickly.
Here You can take a short 10 question psyche test, though I'm not sure if a group of questions about yourself that cannot be answered wrong can be called a test. I recommend opening notepad or something to type/write on so you can remember your 10 answers when you are reviewing what they mean.
So I found this cool little app called Punchtab. You can hopefully see it down there at the bottom. You can sign in with facebook and start getting points. You can earn badges from just coming back to the site and also from commenting, tweeting, sharing and the like. I believe with those you will earn points and then you can spend points on these lovely rewards.
Also I can do giveaways and whatnot, though I think I'll wait and see if I can get more traffic first, otherwise whatever I have to giveaway might just sit there sadly and not be taken and will end up depressing me or something.
Since I check out my own site to make sure it's running and whatnot I got 2 badges from visiting the site, but no points, so maybe it doesn't count for me to go to my own site. Sadly, though, it doesn't work with the dynamic template that I had on there, so I had to put it in to a simpler one, but that may change soon!
Asked my roommate to give me an idea for something to draw because I hadn't in a while, and he said "A giraffe fighting a dragon." So here it is:
I was going to crop it and make it clearer or something since my sketch book is too big for my scanner, but photoshop elements decided it hates me and will stop working when I open the editor. If I get it to work one day and remember to fix this picture I will replace this one.
I like how it could be a fight to the death, or just an argument. "You ate all the lucky charms and all that's left is honey smacks!!"
We got Assassin's Creed II on the midnight release, but until now three hasn't been enough pictures online for me to be happy with this post.
At our gamestop, since it was close to Halloween there was a costume contest. I showed up as headcrab zombie.... and the only other person who was in "costume" was a girl dressed up as Lucy Stillman from the AC series, which looks like this:
And it's cool that she dressed up from the game, but the contest was open to any costume, but versus a headcrab zombie, it seemed she just kind of found that she had the right clothes in her closet. The store did that terrible thing where they say "If you like this costume, clap your hands!" ...but that ended up not working very well, so everyone had to raise their hands instead. I won :3 and got a $10 gift card to the store. Then we went home and played it....and it had SO many bugs and glitches
Here's two amusing (to me) glitches I captured with my high-tech video capture device (my camera pointed at the tv)
but also this happened:
It's pointless, but I still want to do it. I mean, come on, petting pigs makes your hand puke up cornflakes!
Also I like how strangely awkward this video. Just looking at a kid running into a wall then all of a sudden "Pig! It was you the entire time!" feeds pig, then throws money at the guy walking into the wall. (A summary in case you don't feel like watching the video)
Boyfriend said it was dumb and pointless for me to do that and I said that there might be some significance. Maybe at one point someone tries to call the dogs on you and then before killing you they will remember you and turn on their master instead! Though I did try to feed a rat and ended up stepping on it :[
I went sleep and woke up to my boyfriend being farther in the game (actually playing as Connors) and he was chasing down small cute creatures and MURDERING them!
It was terrible! Right after I had gotten the impression that this game was so amazing because Connors probably was attune to nature and could command animals to rip apart his enemies (go get 'em kitty!) then I find out it is a requirement to get pass one part to kill them D:
Of course I've come across THIS problem now that I've played as Connors
The wolfies don't understand I'm a friend...or the angry moose for that matter...luckily haven't run into a bear yet.
So I guess it's an alright game, expect that I keep getting REALLY mad at it doing things I don't want it to, (like when I'm jumping from tree to tree and he's all like, I think I'll jump unto the ground now...I hate trees) I blame the glitches...
This bird is awesome. It can imitate any sound it seems, all in an attempt to attract a mate's attention better than any other bird. Even the sounds of chainsaws clear cutting the forest it lives in. The first video is the actual bird, the second one is a funny one that was dubbed over and lip synced quite well. I think it was the actual BBC team who did it.
Just look at this seagull, look at his epicness as he watches over Row 2 of the parking lot, making sure that his royal subjects do not step out of line as hes Gulliness prepares for war with Row 8...Those tyrants... They killed his wife and son, and shall rue the day they ever crossed King of Row 2!
Or it's just a stupid seagull on a pole with some clouds behind him.
And While we're on the subject of seagulls here's a giant one (this video was not taken by me, but the picture was)
I only find these things in pools for some reason. (Also if anyone knows what this is really called, please tell me) I tried to get a good picture of it all pretty on the grass but a soon as I set it down it would try to burrow. I would ask my boyfriend to help but he thinks bugs are icky... Anyways here it is.
Room mate bought a pleco to be friends with Jo, and to maybe eat the building algae I'll probably be too lazy to ever clean. Though, I've never actually seen and algae eater actually do it's job...
I was kind of worried the turtle may try and eat it, because she nips at anything that look interesting, and she did try to nip at him during his 30 minute equalization period.
Though she seemed to get bored of it by the time it actually got into the aquarium.
What ev's....
...No clue how to actually spell out "whateve's" ...only how the say it....anyways...
Amazingly done, and disappointingly short. This is so great, I just sit in entertained awe as I watch. The music synchronization to what's happening visually really is the thing that tips it passed the edge for me, but the length makes me wish there was much more :(
At this page you can create your own robot and make him dance to a little robot-y song. A bit of amusement for your day. Called Exobotics! Not sure why, maybe you should be on exo's to fully appreciate it?
My boyfriend downloaded Minecraft for the xbox recently and while mining underground he happened upon a cavern. After walking a while, he found a chicken trapped on a bridge surrounded by lava alone... with 3 raw beefs, a raw chicken, rotten flesh, and an egg.
Like this
Couldn't help but wonder what the hell happened here. did 3 cows, 2 chickens. and a zombie all spawn here and then have an argument, and in such a stressful environment 1 chicken laid an egg?
This is Silk, a click and drag interactive generation art. It is quite fun and addicting. The link will send you to one I made, then you can add to it, or press clear and make a new one. When you are done you can press share, then 'copy link' to get a unique link to your creation.
In the left hand bottom corner you can click to cycle through the types of symmetry or click the square to choose which color you want to use. Have fun getting lost in its trace.
On the best 404 page ever (yes that's what it's called) when you refresh it will give you a clip of a random flash animation and a link to click and see the whole clip. To see the whole list, you can click 'site index'.
The screenshot above is taken from Caravan Palace, Rock It For Me a cute black and white animation with swing music (that will start as soon as the page loads for this link) about a city making a robot to combat the invading aliens. Combine 2D and 3D animation to make a very nice story.
I then found the original with better quality here on youtube. It seems to be a music video.
There is this little webpage that lets go crawl around as a little spider being followed by a 6-legged-dog-with-a-birdface-thing. I thought it was going to attack me, but it turns out to just be curious. It will lift it's feet if you go under them.
It doesn't have a goal and isn't really a game, just a cute little interactive vector.
The artist RJ Palmer also has made his own versions of pokemon. Taking a more prehistoric approach. This is his deviantart, the other link is his personal site.
