Amazingly done, and disappointingly short. This is so great, I just sit in entertained awe as I watch. The music synchronization to what's happening visually really is the thing that tips it passed the edge for me, but the length makes me wish there was much more :(

Minecraft Murder Chicken
My boyfriend downloaded Minecraft for the xbox recently and while mining underground he happened upon a cavern. After walking a while, he found a chicken trapped on a bridge surrounded by lava alone... with 3 raw beefs, a raw chicken, rotten flesh, and an egg.
Couldn't help but wonder what the hell happened here. did 3 cows, 2 chickens. and a zombie all spawn here and then have an argument, and in such a stressful environment 1 chicken laid an egg?

Beautiful Interactive Generation Art
This is Silk, a click and drag interactive generation art. It is quite fun and addicting. The link will send you to one I made, then you can add to it, or press clear and make a new one. When you are done you can press share, then 'copy link' to get a unique link to your creation.
In the left hand bottom corner you can click to cycle through the types of symmetry or click the square to choose which color you want to use. Have fun getting lost in its trace.

A cute black and white animation
On the best 404 page ever (yes that's what it's called) when you refresh it will give you a clip of a random flash animation and a link to click and see the whole clip. To see the whole list, you can click 'site index'.
The screenshot above is taken from Caravan Palace, Rock It For Me a cute black and white animation with swing music (that will start as soon as the page loads for this link) about a city making a robot to combat the invading aliens. Combine 2D and 3D animation to make a very nice story.
I then found the original with better quality here on youtube. It seems to be a music video.

Simple but amusing interactive spider vector
There is this little webpage that lets go crawl around as a little spider being followed by a 6-legged-dog-with-a-birdface-thing. I thought it was going to attack me, but it turns out to just be curious. It will lift it's feet if you go under them.
It doesn't have a goal and isn't really a game, just a cute little interactive vector.

Giant pokemon drinking game that looks quite interesting
It is very detailed and large. So large that I can't fit the original size on my blog! Here you can read it. Couldn't find a source, but whoever made it is quite awesome and has my admiration.

Project Runway Season 10 Winner
I am so happy with how this year's Project Runway season turned out. My favorite guy won, so of course that makes me happy. Dmitry Sholokhov was kind of blah in the beginning but then started getting more interesting later in the season.
I noticed something terrible in episode 13, where Tim Gunn goes to everyone's place and critics their work a week before the fashion show. Going to Melissa's , Fabio's, and Chris' houses he heard "This is my family, and this is my boyfriend!" and had tea with a big crowd. Which I have to wonder if that was a requirement or something, some sort of hidden rule "When Tim Gunn visits, serve tea!" But when he went to Dmitry's house it was just him, all alone. And he revealed this:
I must say though, for the final show, his styling was terrible in my tastes, but I LOVED his outfits. Especially his last one.
I found an awesome interview from after it was publicly announced he was the winner. Yay Dmitry!

Randyotter, an artist of cute and clever works
I found a very awesome artist called Randy Otter. His work usually has cute faces in it and some out of the ordinary situation or thing. Role reversal and such. These are some of my favorites, with the title listed under each one. If you want to see more, click his hyper-linked name above to go to his flickr.

Firefly IS awesome!
So I have heard from various geeky sources that firefly was the best show that ever existed and it's a damn shame that it never got picked up for a second season.
Example:
But I never really felt like going out and finding a way to watch it and was weary of watching a new series because series usually have a lot of episodes and I know I wouldn't be happy with not finishing it. Also what if I feel in love with the show and then was left hanging with questions that were never to be answered?
A year or so after finding out about the show, I found it on netflix. Without anything to watch, boyfriend and I decided to give it a try....AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!
The story line follows a captain and his "ragtag crew", as netflix calls it, as they find (usually illegal) jobs of scavenging cargo and then selling it on the black market. They claim that they do regular jobs too, but I don't think it ever shows any in the series.
The setting is in the year of 2517, and the planet "The-Earth-That-Was" (you may know it by it by it's current name, Earth) was used up, so they found a new solar system and terraformed the planets and moons to support human life. The group called The Alliance decided that all the new planets should be under one rule, but the group of people who didn't want that, called The Independents or "Brown Coats", fought back causing a war. The first episode starts with the war, introducing the captain and a woman of his later to be formed crew. Most of the series takes place about 7 years after the wars, excluding some flash backs and the like. The alliance won, and now the central planets are the more rich and technologically advanced, and leave the outer planets with not so much technology or money.
It has the perfect level of humor, and the right type! I loved all of the characters and was so interested in the story line They could have had an episode about filing taxes and I would have loved it! Of course it would most likely be perfectly dramatic and dangerous taxes that would reveal a little more about the characters. Basically they had some lovely ingredients that they mixed together and baked into a wonderful show.
Thankfully, a few years after the end of Firefly(2002), they made a follow up movie called Serenity(2005). It wrapped things up to a satisfactory level for me. I very much recommend this series!

Free never ending playlist!
So I have discovered this awesome site, that allows you to pick an artist and then have a playlist of them from vimeo and youtube, and maybe some other places. There will even be the music video sometimes, other times it will show just the album art. I'm not sure about never ending, but I clicked on paramore and got a list of 42 (the answer to life, the universe and everything, of course). When you get to the end it repeats, so that makes it never ending?

Tim Burton style pokeymans!
The amazing artist hatboy has made a lot of the pokemon into a tim burton type of style! These pictures are so amazing. Here are some of my favorites:
Bulbasaur has always been my favorite :3
Truthfully I have never own a pokemon game :'( I have played a bit on other people's games and my boyfriend has multipple games for ds but you cannot have more than one account on there. I did watch the show A LOT with the first 151 pokemon. I know all of those but am pretty clueless with the 50 bazillion other ones.
So yeah, here's the pokemon specific link. He seems to be putting color in the newer one's he's made.
